Dr. Karthik Ramani is the Donald W. Feddersen Professor of Mechanical Engineering and the Director of the C Design Lab at Purdue University.
His research focuses on the intersection of mechanical engineering and information science and technology, and the areas span design and manufacturing, new kernels for shape understanding using machine learning, geometric computing, and human-computer natural user interaction and interfaces with shapes and sketches.
