Carlos Furlotti

Carlos holds an M.S. from Columbia University and a B.S.B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Richmond. Originally from Argentina, he brings a global perspective to his work and remains actively involved in building bridges between industrial founders, technical experts, and strategic capital.

Biography

Carlos Furlotti is a Principal at Exposition Ventures, where he leads early-stage investments in the foundational technologies transforming industrial markets.

He brings a decade of experience advising, evaluating, and backing companies across the industrial landscape, with a focus on deep tech, digital infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing systems.

Before joining Exposition, Carlos spent seven years in the Diversified Industries Investment Banking group at JPMorgan Chase in New York. There, he advised more than 100 clients spanning the automotive, aerospace and defense, chemicals, and broader industrial sectors. His deal experience includes complex spin-offs, carve-outs, and leveraged buyouts, such as Honeywell’s spin-offs of Garrett Motion and Resideo Technologies, Emerson’s Climate Technologies carve-out to Blackstone, and Rivian’s inaugural bank credit facility. Carlos is known for his rigor in financial modeling, deal structuring, and diligence — expertise he now applies to early-stage investing.
